The terms, kept short.

Orb55 designs and builds websites — either by delivering a pre-made template, or by customising one for you (the "Setup" tier), or by creating something bespoke. The specific deliverables for your project are defined in the order you place or the quote you accept.

For template-only purchases, payment is taken in full before files are released. For Setup and bespoke projects, payment is split 50% on confirmation and 50% on launch. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. We accept card and bank transfer.

When you pay for a template or site, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use it on the domain it's been delivered for. You may edit, extend, and modify the code freely. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the template source to third parties as-is.

Unless you ask otherwise in writing before launch, we reserve the right to feature the work on our portfolio, case studies, and social channels — including screenshots, excerpts of the live site, and a brief description of the project.

Each Setup tier includes one round of revisions on content and styling. Bespoke projects include revisions as defined in the project brief. Additional revisions or significant scope changes are quoted separately at our standard day rate before work continues.

Delivery windows are quoted in business days and begin once we have received the required assets from you (copy, images, logos, domain access). Delays in content delivery may extend the launch date. We'll keep you informed throughout.

We deliver the work to the best of our professional ability. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business, or data.

You may cancel a Setup or bespoke project at any time. If you cancel after we have started work, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If we are materially unable to deliver, you are entitled to a full refund of monies paid. Template-only purchases are non-refundable once files have been released.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
