PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy, plainly put.
A short, honest account of what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. No dark patterns, no tracking, no hidden data sharing.
§01
Who we are
Orb55 is a small independent web studio based in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. When we say "we", "us", or "Orb55" on this page, that's who we mean. If you need to reach us about anything on this page, email [email protected].
§02
What we collect
We only collect information you give us directly — via enquiry forms, order forms, or email. Typically that's your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), business name, and whatever you tell us about your project. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party advertising tags on this site.
§03
Why we collect it
Your details are used to respond to your enquiry, deliver the work you've ordered, and keep in touch about your project. We don't use your data for marketing, we don't send newsletters, and we don't build profiles of site visitors.
§05
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 12 months. For active and past clients, we retain project-related correspondence and records for as long as required for tax and contractual purposes (typically 6 years in the UK). After that it's permanently deleted.
§06
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to its use, or to have it transferred to another provider. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
§07
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. The only storage we may use is browser
localStorage to remember whether you've seen the guided tour on your first visit — that's a local-only flag and never leaves your device. §08
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and push the change to the repository. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
